Talk about coming full circle, well just about. I grew up in Michigan, went to school down in Athens and graduated with a BS in Communications from O.U. back in the Big 80s.

With the pigskin firmly in my back pocket, I moved to Washington, D.C. where I worked in marketing for the next 6 years until I couldn't take the winters anymore and moved to the "left" coast; Los Angeles to be exact. Oh, the stories I could tell (and probably will).

After spending the next 16 years in California and developing my marketing and graphic design business and starting a family, life took us to Albuquerque, New Mexico in 2005.

Before long I was hired on at the Albuquerque Journal (NM's largest newspaper, circ 115,000) as one of their local columnists. Witty? Humorous? Passionate? Well, all I know is that the column became very popular and in Albuquerque the Magazine's Best of the City survey 2011, I was voted first runner-up as favorite columnist.   

Thanksgiving weekend 2011, life took another turn and I am living back in Ohio. The reasons behind this move are more romantic, more surreal than imaginable, and I am sure I will write about it someday. For now, my marketing business continues to thrive and I continue to write.
