In April 2008, Angie Hofelich founded VANITYLAB Salon.Spa.Shop offering personalized service with a city edge and an apothecary approach to hair care. VANITYLAB is the 2009-10 winner of “Best of the West” salon voted by West Shore Magazine for and “Best of the Best” Salon Winner Nationally for 2009 by The Industry Source Magazine.  The salon is currently dubbed as one of the 25 Coolest Places in Cleveland 2011 by Cleveland Magazine.  Services include a range of unique salon offerings such as Style Mapping consultations, a “color bar” where the stylist mixes hair color and a brow lab.

The VANITYLAB launched Sparkle Jewelry, the largest collection of locally made jewelry in the greater Cleveland area which sits inside VANITYLAB.  With helping the local economy and giving back locally in mind, a portion of Sparkle proceeds benefit The Gathering Place (www.touchedbycancer.org).  Since its launch, Sparkle has become a distributor to other salons in the greater Cleveland area and each piece comes with a dedication card where a cancer survivor or lost one can be honored on the Dedication Wall online at www.sparklelocal.com.

Working to help salons achieve success with their business and marketing initiatives, Angie conducts seminars and consults nationally for distributors, manufacturers and independent salons.  Through consultative coaching with sales teams around the country, she is able to help more distributor sales consultants make a difference for all their customers.

With a passion for great customer service and art, Angie and the team have been in local and national publications for beauty editorials, local and national press, television & featured in the book, “The Rules of Woo” for outstanding customer service for clients.
