Building's 10-year anniversary celebration is today
Westlake Porter Library will celebrate 10 years in its current building on Monday with an all-day celebration. During the day, visitors can check out a display covering the last 10 years and all that has come to the library. There will be cookies and giveaways. At 7 p.m., a donor recognition wall will be dedicated. The current library was completed in 2002, doubling its size from the original 1985 building. Over the years, other changes have come, including the Bernice Yates Community Reading Garden, and new technology such as e-books. What do you love about Westlake Porter Library?
