UPDATE: Winter Weather Advisory Saturday
Will your dreams of a White Christmas come true? Looks like it.
Updated 9:01 a.m. Saturday. The weathermen have been warning us for a few days, and it looks like they were right. The worst appears to be over for Westlake as the National Weather Service in Cleveland has removed the Winter Storm Warning for the area and instead issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Northeast Ohio. Snow showers are expected to taper off beginning Saturday morning, with maybe another inch of accumulation. The wind will also be a problem. Sustained winds of 15 to 25 miles an hour, with gusts up to 40 miles an hour, could create dangerous driving conditions with blowing and drifting snow. It will also be cold, with a high temperature of 32 degrees forecasted. Keep an eye on road conditions on our Commute page.
