A winter storm is coming later this week.
If you're dreaming of a white Christmas, you may get your wish. It looks like a winter storm will arrive starting Thursday, although WEWS Channel 5 reports it will begin as rain with gusty winds before changing over to snow Thursday night into Friday morning. We could have one to three inches of snow by noon Friday, followed by strong winds setting up lake effect snow. By the time the storm is done Saturday, we could have four to six inches of snow, according to the early forecast. Will the snow stick around for Christmas? Police Follow Tracks For Nearly Two Hours To Find Suspected Thieves A Chestnut Drive resident noticed footprints in his driveway near his two unlocked cars at about 2:30 a.m. March 11. He found that both had been rummaged through. Officers from Westlake, North Olmsted and Rocky River tracked the footprints through yards, businesses, streets and sidewalks in Westlake and North Olmsted for nearly two hours. Police found that suspects had gone through many unlocked cars. The tracks led officers to an apartment in the block of 4800 block of Columbia Road in North Olmsted.
