Update: All Lanes on I-90 Reopened

All lanes have been reopened following a car fire.

Update, 2:45 p.m. Capt. Guy Turner said there were no injuries in Wednesday's incident. Just one car was involved, and Turner said the department did not know what caused the fire.  Update, 1:30 p.m. All lanes have been reopened on I-90 westbound, the Ohio Department of Transportation reports. The original article follows below. Update, 12:23 p.m. Two of the lanes on Interstate 90 westbound are closed past state Route 252/Columbia Road, according to information from the Ohio Department of Transportation.  The left lane has been reopened. Dover Center Road Closed to Northbound Traffic Wednesday

Crews will be paving the street, detour on Columbia Road

Dover Center Road will be closed to northbound traffic north of Detroit Road from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 16 for paving, according to the Westlake Police Department. Southbound traffic will still be allowed. Drivers will be directed to  the detour on Columbia Road. In an effort to relieve traffic congestions, the city is widening the intersection on Detroit Road from two lanes to four, with a turn lane. When completed, the newly constructed portion of Detroit will feature two eastbound and westbound lanes, plus a turning lane.

Clemens Road to Close Saturday Morning for Race

Road closure starts at 8:50 a.m.

Drivers can expect delays in the Clemens and Crocker roads area Saturday morning as runners take to the street for the 26th annual Youth Challenge Race Day. The race is held each year in honor of Dave Hardman, a former Youth Challenge board member and longtime supporter of the organization. Proceeds from the run will be used for sports programing and camps where children with disabilities can play pretty much anything from basketball to ice hockey to rock climbing. Intersections at Crocker and Clemens roads, Westchester and Ranney parkways, and Bassett and Crocker roads will be closed from at 8:50 a.m. The 5K race begins at 9:15 a.m., followed by the 1 mile fun run/walk at 10 a.m.
