Crocker Park Farmers Market Relocates Due to AG Construction

Construction of the American Greetings new world headquarters means the annual Farmers Market at Crocker Park has relocated. Emma Anderson, of the North Union Farmers Market said the market will move back to its 2011 location to the pad across from Trader Joe’s and First Watch restaurant on Market Street. The Farmers Market, which moved indoors for the winter, is back outside. It has become a perennial favorite at Crocker Park and is now in its 9th year. The Market opened Saturday, April 13, and will run every Saturday through Dec. 21 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. The “Mange” has also been relocated. “The Mange is a small urban garden and (growers) donate food raised there to a food bank,” Anderson said. “Some fruits, vegetables and they are taken …

Forget the Snow, Farmer’s Market at Crocker Park in Full Swing

Market open on Saturday from 9 a.m. - noon

Spring is right around the corner, but so is the Farmer’s Market. Despite yesterday’s snow and cold, those seeking a little bit of summer in their week can head over to Crocker Park’s North Union Farmers Market Indoor Winter Market for fresh grown veggies and interesting finds. “It’s indoors at Crocker Park through March 16, from 9 a.m.  – noon,” General Manager Emma Anderson said. In warmer weather, the popular outdoor Market at Crocker Park offers buyers plenty of Ohio grown and manufactured products. Farmers Market Opens in New Location

The North Union Farmers Market will run through December.

The Farmers Market is back for another season at Crocker Park, but it's in a new spot on Union Street near Regal Cinema. The market will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays, and starting in June, there will be a market open from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday evenings on Center Street. So head down and check out the wares from farmers in nine counties, and pick up some of the in-season produce like asparagus or rhubarb.

Artisan Affair, Photos with Santa and More This Weekend

Get out and have some fun on your time off!

St. Bernadette's Third Annual Artisan Affair St. Bernadette's third annual Artisan Affair will be 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday. There will be lots of handmade works from local artists, food, a raffle and more. Admission is $2 at the door. This event is inside, so it will go on rain or shine. Funds raised will support technology at St. Bernadette School and programs at The Gathering Place to support those touched by cancer and their families. Farm Days Celebrates Westlake's Past

The Saturday farmers market at Crocker Park included ponies, a goat and more to celebrate the bicentennial.

A little bit of the country came to Westlake on Saturday at Farm Days at Crocker Park. In addition to the regular North Union Farmers Market, the event included free pony rides, an antique tractor display and a chance to buy the bicentennial cookbook Cooking With Memories. The event was a celebration of Westlake's farming history in honor of this year's bicentennial.

Lots of Fall Festival Fun and More This Weekend

Farm Days at Crocker Park Market The city, North Union Farmers Markets and Crocker Park are coming together to celebrate Westlake's bicentennial on Saturday morning. The Farmers Market will open as usual at 9 a.m., with extended hours until 3 p.m. At 11 a.m., the special programs start with wine tastings, a cooking demonstration by La Campagna, Life's Little Adventures Petting Farm, pony rides, chalk art, face-painting, antique tractors and live music from Burning River Jazz.
