Marc Doumbas Indicted on Bribery Charges
Westlake lawyer accused of trying to pay witness to change their testimony, may be related to Anthony Calabrese III racketeering and corruption case
Attorney Marc G. Doumbas of Westlake has been indicted along with another lawyer for bribery. Doumbas, 44, and Giles Timothy Marshall, 63, of Olmsted Falls are each facing two counts of bribery. The Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office said this was part of an ongoing corruption investigation and that further evidence was gotten in a search of the Bentleyville home of Anthony Calabrese III on Tuesday morning. Calabrese, also an attorney, is scheduled to go on trial in February on racketeering and corruption-related charges including bribery and conspiracy to commit fraud.
