I-90 Delays Possible Tuesday - Thursday

Eastbound lanes in Avon will be restricted to two lanes.

Is traveling on I-90 in your plans this week? In order to complete painting of the steel beams under the newly placed Nagel Road Interchange bridge over I-90, it will be necessary to restrict eastbound traffic to two lanes through the construction zone. Don Damyanic, Avon's project manager for the interchange, said the work will take place from Oct. 2 through Oct. 4 from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. This means that morning commute traffic eastbound will be affected. If possible, motorists are urged to find alternate routes of travel to avoid potential congestion and delays on I-90 eastbound.
