Newest store’s grand opening featuring sales and gift card giveaways
Crocker Park’s newest resident, Hot Mama, is set to open at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 10. The store will continue with the celebration all week offering 10 percent off the entire store’s stock through April 14. The store is also giving away Hot Mama gift cards to the first 50 customers each day (Wednesday through Sunday). The store is located at 25 Main St. in Crocker Park. The company, headquartered in Edina, Minn., announced last fall it would open the first Hot Mama boutique in Cleveland in Westlake. They initially expected to open in March. Here's the top news in Westlake this past week
Two Avon Lake residents, reportedly heroin addicts, and their accomplices are under arrest after a home on Glenbrook Court was broken into. Jewelry and prescription drugs were stolen. Chelsea Alurovic and Stephen Zywotek, both 25 and from Avon Lake, also confessed to other home burglaries around Westlake. Westlake resident Jennifer Kearney, 29, was sentenced to three years in prison for killing motorcyclist Kenneth Stith in a drunk-driving crash in 2011 where she was driving the wrong way on I-90 in Cleveland. Crocker Park is getting a unique new resident. Fox 8 is going to be setting up a studio in the Westlake shopping/dining/entertainment center to cover west side news. Store focused on trendy maternity clothes is set to open at Crocker Park in in March.
Crocker Park is getting greater Cleveland's first Hot Mama boutique. The Edina, Minn.-based company signed a lease for a store here, with a March 2013 opening planned. "We go where the moms are," said Hot Mama founder Megan Tamte. "We want to be in the neighborhoods where moms hang out. That's why we going to be at Crocker Park." While Hot Mama caters to moms, don't expect to find Mom Jeans. Hot Mama is about on-trend clothes and accessories for moms who want to look in style, but don't want to look like a teenager.
