What's Your Favorite Christmas Cookie?

It's beginning to taste a lot like Christmas! And one of the best tastes of Christmas is Christmas cookies. Some of us are spending the last days before Christmas in the kitchen, baking cookies and making other treats like chocolate bark and quick breads. So far, I've gotten the Russian teacakes, molasses-spice cookies and cranberry-orange cookies baked. The peanut blossoms, snickerdoodles and chocolate-cherry-almond bark are still to come. My mom made the most amazing pecan-maple-bourbon balls I've ever had this year. Easy. Peasy. Lemon. Whiskey. Pecan Pie Truffles 2 1/2 c pecans-toasted and finely chopped 1 c graham cracker crumbs 1 c dark brown sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 2 Tb. maple syrup 1/4 c bourbon 1 tsp. vanilla 7 oz dark chocolate Stir together everything but chocolate.
