Beauty and the Beast Competition Combines Gymnastics and Wrestling
Crowds can watch both at the same time Friday at 7 p.m.
The gymnasts are the beauty in this off-Broadway story. Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School will host the fourth annual Beauty and the Beast event, a combined gymnastics and wrestling competition, at 7 p.m. Friday. The event highlights “two outstanding programs,” said Brecksville-Broadview Heights Athletic Director Dan Kalinsky. The Demon gymnasts will take on the 10-time championship winning Bees and Magnificat during the fourth annual event. Kalinsky said the Brecksville-Broadview Heights gymnastics team hasn’t lost a competition since 2003, and the wrestling team hasn’t lost a dual meet in the Southwestern Conference since they were accepted in 2005.
