Westlake Junior Womens Club is holding its Basket of Treasures holiday craft show from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Westlake High School. Silver Fox Florists on Detroit Road was bustling with activity Monday, with florists cutting flowers, arranging bouquets and helping customers find the perfect gift. But it's not too late. "We'll have all of the same stuff Valentine's Day we usually have," said owner Tara Prior. "If you order early and you're reasonable, we'll still have everything. We might have to make a few substitutions." Valentine's bouquets of all sizes, helium balloons, stuffed animals and gift boxes are grouped together for easy shopping. Valentine's Day is a day for love, so couples are hitting the stores to find the perfect gift. But many others are sending some love to family members as well. Rachel Aberdeen stopped by Silver Fox Florist on Detroit Road Wednesday morning to pick up some flowers for her mother, who lives in North Ridgeville. She said she was going to deliver them in person, along with some homemade buckeye candies to celebrate the holiday. "Valentine's Day has always been special for us," she said. "My mother always sent me a Valentine when I was at college, and she never stopped. So, we always exchange them now."
