Think Your Pet is the Cutest in Westlake? Prove It

Enter Westlake Historical Society's Cutest Pet Contest

Everyone thinks their pet is adorable. Now you can get proof. The Westlake Historical Society is seeking entries for the 2013 Cutest Pet in Westlake. Whether you have a dog, cat, fish, bird or reptile, all are welcome in the contest. The winner, who will be announced the week of Dec. 10, will get $25 cash (split if there's a tie). Also, the winning pet's photo will be on display at Clague House Musuem and the pet will be invited to walk in the 2013 Memorial Day parade if it's able to. School Board Forum, Cutest Pet Contest and More Today

Here are five things you should know today.

1) West Life is hosting a moderated forum for all seven Westlake school board candidates from 7 to 8:30 p.m. tonight at the Westlake High School Performing Arts Center. Head down to see where the candidates stand before heading to the polls Nov. 8. 2) Join Miss Beth and her friend Poe at 10:15 a.m. this morning for stories, rhymes and songs at Toddler Storytime at Porter Public Library. This program is for kids ages 2 to 3 and half years old with a caregiver. 3) The cloudy skies are sticking around today with a chance of rain and a high near 63 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
