Play is one of many things to do around town this weekend
This weekend is your last chance to catch Westlake High School's Center State Players in The Wizard of Oz at the Performing Arts Center. Performances are Friday and Saturday evenings, with a Sunday matinee. Enjoy a family-friendly afternoon with the kids at a benefit for the Isaiah Project at Lutheran Home at Concord Reserve at 2 p.m. Saturday. There will be entertainment, an art show, raffles, crafts, caricature drawing, a pizza sale and a bake sale. Help an area family help other parents who have lost a child at Saturday's Abbey Rose Foundation benefit at Westlake Christian Church. Looking to make some extra money this holiday season?
With the holiday shopping season being measured in weeks now, stores are hiring seasonal help for the rush. Macy's announced Monday that it will be hiring approximately 80,000 seasonal employees. Jobs available include store sales, store operations, customer service in call centers, and working in distribution centers. Many of the positions are part-time, and will require working evenings, weekends or overnight.
