Here are this week's most bizarre police calls, reports and charges. All information was provided by police reports from departments in Patch communities. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction. Breaking in for $30 — A 60-year-old Cleveland Heights man was arrested for breaking in and vandalizing multiple businesses in the Cedar-Lee district. Police said Michael Moore smashed a window at The Stone Oven at 4:30 a.m. Aug 2 to get to the register. He got away with a grand total of $30. Moore is also accused of breaking into The Wine Spot. Police are investigating his involvement in six other incidents. He is being held in the Cuyahoga County Jail on two $10,000 bonds. Immediate admission — Solon Police did …

Get 10 Cents Off Gas at BP on Friday

One-time discount is good for up to 20 gallons.

Gas prices have been hitting everyone hard in the wallet lately, but on Friday, you can fuel up for the weekend with 10 cents off a gallon. Westlake's BP gas station will be offering the discounted gas from 3 to 6 p.m., up to 20 gallons. To get your discounted gas, just ask for a one-time card you can use to get a rebate at the pump.

Westlake Police Blotter: Burglary, Public Urination and Trespassing

Man shuns bathroom in favor of gas station wall, right in front of police officer A 22-year-old Cleveland man really had to go at 1:42 a.m. Dec. 25. So he did so on the side of the BP gas station at 29775 Clemens Rd. He could easily be seen from the gas pumps and by a passing patrolman. He was unable to tell officers why he didn't just use the open gas station's restroom. Police cited him for Possession of Marijuana and Disorderly Conduct.
