Trio strongly beat out competition with 20 percent of the votes or more each.
Incumbents Thomas Mays and Carol Winter will be joined by newcomer Anthony Falcone on the Westlake Board of Education next year, according to final unofficial results from the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections. Winter, school board vice president, came out on top at the end of the night with 23 percent of the vote, followed closely by Mays, school board president, with 22 percent and then Falcone with 20 percent. Falcone, underwriting director at RLI Corp., is a Westlake High School graduate with three children in the Westlake schools. He, Mays and Winter supported each other, often using the slogan M-W-F, during the election.
