I'm sad to hear this is happening. I'm also a little confused about why they're closing thisRead More location in particular. I used to live right down the road up until a few weeks ago and I used to frequent it pretty often. Every time I went in there were always a bunch of people there so I can't imagine they didn't do well. There were even a few times I had trouble even finding a seat because it was so crowded.

The current location, near KMart and McDonald's, is closing. It's on the north side of Detroit.Read More There's been no word if one will open at Crocker Park. That would be a new location, but you're right, I would think it would do well there.

Peet's is in another league compared to Caribou. Especially the one in Lakewood on Detroit which isRead More usually dirty and very outdated looking with its mooshead lodge decor. Peet's is hip, up to date decor, clean facilities, great coffee, and usually support local charities. Lets hope they open in Lakewood - it would be a good match for them and the community!
