Clague Park offers many amenities like Peterson Pool and Clague Cabin, as well as seven baseball diamonds, playgrounds, picnic spots, a duck pond and tennis courts. It is the site of the city's Fourth of July fireworks. The park also has outdoor pavilions available for reservation. Reservations can be made at the Recreation Center from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays.

today is teusday july 5th 2011 i am still recovering from the clague park fireworks assault!!!!! my hat off to the crew that dared to light up the westlake skies last night!!!!! that was the most intense and awe inspiring display i have ever seen (and i have seen alot!) it was hilarious to see young and old alike duck and hide under blankets and chairs out of great fear while reaching for their sunglasses!!!! i havent laughed so hard in a long time (in between the shouts and cheers!!!!) when the smoke cleared (literally) and people began to come out of hiding i laughed all the way back to my vehicle as i heard many comments like "what just happened!?" and a little old church lady said "i feel like i just came out of a war!" one man (during the onslaught) shouted "good gravy, thats enough!!" from the first explotion to the last there was no grand finale just one long barage of artillary!!!! very cool!!!! i cant wit till next year!!!!
