Coffee House and Open Mic: Sept. 14, 7 p.m. Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Westlake is holding an open mic event in the lower fellowship hall at the church. The church has a sound system, keyboard, drum kit, and amps for guitars.  We also set up tables in a "coffee house" setting and offer baked goods and some great coffee. 

Third Annual Crocker Park Wine Festival: The Crocker Park Wine Festival will take place on Friday, September 13 from 4-10 and Saturday, Sept. 14 from 2 p.m -10 p.m.  A benefit for health related charities in Cuyahoga County and beyond, the event is held on the beautiful grounds of Crocker Park and is sponsored by Westlake Giant Eagle and Adams Reserve NY Extra Sharp Cheddar. Brighton Gardens of Westlake "Walk to End Alzheimer's" Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser: Head over to Brighton Gardens of Westlake's annual Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser on Friday, Sept. 13 from 4 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.  Adults $10/Children $5 (check or cash only) Take Out Available. 100 percent of proceeds go to the Alzheimer's Association's "Walk to End Alzheimer's" event.  Call today to make your reservation by 9/10/13. Youth Challenge Superhero Dash: 28th Annual Race Day, 5K and 1M Walk/Roll is Saturday, Sept. 14 in Lakewood Park. 8 a.m. same-day registration, 9:15 a.m. 5K, 10 a.m. 1-mile Walk/Roll Pre-registration - $15, $20 day of race. Ages 18 & under - $10. Includes T-shirt to first 300 registrants, awards, and prizes for the best Superhero costumes. Art and Soul Festival in LakewoodThe Good Day Moon Gallery and the Reiki Room are hosting their inaugural street festival Saturday, featuring local artists, food from the Root Café and Lucky Dogs food truck, as well as street performers, live music, face painting, St. Helen's Unicycle Team, Something DaDa Improv, hula-hooping, Olmstead Performing Arts Dance Troop, Silhouette Acrobatics, and more. All proceeds benefit the Trinity Lakewood Community Outreach.
