Viewfinder: March Madness at Youth Challenge

In honor of the NCAA championships, Westlake's Youth Challenge broke out the basketballs.

Youth Challenge is celebrating 35 years of service to the community this year, bringing together kids of all ages to play sports year-round. Trained teen volunteers work with kids with physical disabilities to stay active by swimming, playing soccer, rock climbing and more.

On Wednesday, in honor of March Madness (and the driving snow), the kids hit the hoops inside for some friendly games.

Check back with Westlake Patch next week when we'll have video interviews with Youth Challenge members and more details on the nonprofit's upcoming 35th anniversary benefit.
