Historical Society Yard Sale Moved to Sunday

Rainy weather postpones the sale originally scheduled for Saturday

The rainy weather has pushed back the to Sunday.

Originally scheduled for Saturday, the sale will now be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, or until everything is sold.

The weather just doesn't seem to want to cooperate for the historical society, which had to as well.

The society will be providing coffee and donuts while shoppers peruse the classy cast-offs, vintage items and knick knacks. All proceeds will go toward paying utility bills and purchasing archival materials, according to the historical society.

The society is still accepting donations for the sale at Clague House Museum. If no one is there, just leave donations on the porch and someone will pick it up.

"We appreciate the person who donated the 2 wonderful boxes of great stuff," said Dave Pfister, membership chair. "If we're not there, it just means we'll be back soon."
