Sew-a-Thon

Sew-a-thon Volunteers Needed

If sewing is your passion and you enjoy using your skills to
help others, please consider joining us!

Hospice of the Western Reserve and Birds of a Feather are
hosting a Sew-A-Thon to create 200 lap blankets for patients with dementia. Made of special textured materials, these blankets are used to promote tactile
stimulation.

The Sew-a-thon takes place every Wednesday, Jan. 25-Feb. 29. Volunteers are welcome to participate anytime between 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

We are also accepting donations of textured fabrics
which can be taken to Birds of a Feather. Volunteers from both Hospice of the Western Reserve and the community are invited to be a part of this crafty adventure.
