Gas Prices Fall Before Fourth of July

Will lower prices change your plans?

Over the last week, gas prices have fallen by about 20 cents in Westlake.

Prices around town as of Tuesday were anywhere between $3.25 and $3.38 a gallon. These are the lowest prices since January, and a drop of 20 percent since they peaked at over $3.90 in early April.

This is good news for drivers as we head into the Fourth of July holiday, a popular time to drive for vacations or visits.

AAA is predicting that 42.3 million Americans will travel 50 miles or more from home for the holiday. That's a 42-percent increase over 2009, AAA reported.

I think Enterprise was going to move there, since BMW is moving to where Enterprise is.
