Westlake Demons Headed to the OHSAA Playoffs Friday

Tickets are on sale now.

The storms caused by Hurricane Sandy have disrupted quite a bit around Westlake this week, but Friday’s football OHSAA playoffs are expected to go on without a problem.

Westlake Athletic Director Tony Cipollone said in an email that the game is still expected to take place at the high school, as the power is on at the building and the stadium.

Westlake will take on Mansfield-Madison at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams have a 9-1 record, according to the Ohio High School Athletic Association

Cipollone said tickets can be purchased until 4 p.m. today and from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Friday at the athletic office. Presale tickets are $7, and tickets bought at the gate will be $9. No passes are accepted, and tickets are required.

If you take any photos at the game, add them to this post by clicking “Upload Photos and Videos,” and we’ll highlight them on the site over the weekend.
