The Westlake boys basketball team lost its Division I regional tournament game at Midview High School against North Ridgeville on a buzzer-beating 3-pointer by Danny Montgomery, 47-44, on Tuesday night.

Westlake's (11-10) trio of , Grant Gase, and Andrew Guirguis combined for 35 points, with Gase tallying 15. Both LaBroo and Guirguis added 10 for the Demons.

North Ridgeville's Montgomery not only had the game winner, but scored a game-high 23 points. Ranger teammate Mark Szylakowski added 13 points in the victory.

North Ridgeville (13-8) will play Brunswick on Friday at Midview High School at 6 p.m.
