Outdoor Concert, Softball and More

Here are five things you should know today.

1) 's Music in the Park series continues with Peggy & Brad from 6:30 to 9 p.m. The duo will be rocking blues and jazz on the Sunset Stage in one of the last concerts of the season, so bring a blanket and a friend!

2) Friends of the Community is hosting a softball tournament to benefit the Westshore and Olmsted Community Emergency Response teams from noon to 6 p.m. today at North Olmsted Community Park. There will be teams from Westlake, Bay Village, Fairview Park, North Olmsted, Olmsted Township and Rocky River.

3) is hosting at 10:30 a.m. today in the Dover Meeting Room. Kids ages 2-5 can enjoy playtime with songs, toys and rhymes. Children must be accompanied by a caregiver. Call 440-871-2600 to register.

5) is meeting at Providence Church in Avon from 9 a.m. to noon today. The group makes lap quilts for cancer patients. No prior quilting experience is necessary.
