WHS National Honor Society Hosts Veterans' Breakfast

Twelve local veterans visited the high school and received free tickets to the school play.

The National Honor Society hosted a Veterans Day breakfast on Friday for 12 local veterans.

The veterans enjoyed a breakfast, provided by WHS Head Cook Mary Kay Auger, and fresh-baked cookies from Elena Prohaska's family and consumer sciences class.

Each veteran also got to take home a gift bag with Westlake magnets, candy, hats from the Demons Club and tickets to the upcoming WHS Center Stage Players’ performance of The Importance of Being Earnest.
