Westlake High Musician Chosen for Regional Orchestra
This year's regional orchestra will take place at Cleveland State University on Nov. 24
Westlake High School junior Grace Yun was selected to participate in the Northeast Regional Orchestra, which will put on a festival weekend with a visiting clinician.
The Northeast Regional Orchestra is made up of Ohio Music Education Association districts 4-7, which includes 145 schools in Cuyahoga, Lorain, Ashtabula, Mahoning, Trumbull, Medina, Portage, Summit, Wayne, Geauga and Lake counties. Grace, who plays the cello, had to audition for the orchestra.
This year’s regional orchestra will take place at Cleveland State University on Nov. 24 under guest clinician Steven Huang form Ohio University.
