Westlake High Cheerleaders Spread Demon Pride

The cheerleading squad painted signs with Project LINK at Parkside Elementary School for the big Homecoming game against North Olmsted.

The cheerleaders spread some Demon pride Thursday afternoon at . The squad joined kids in Project Link, the city schools' after school care program, to paint signs cheering on the Demons for their big Homecoming game against North Olmsted at 7 p.m. Friday.

"We teach one value each quarter," said English, cheerleading coach and Project Link caregiver. "This quarter is community, and we're really trying to build Westlake spirit, not just in sports."

With Demons faces, green paint, crayons and markers, the cheerleaders worked other students to create signs that will hang in the Westlake High School cafeteria on Friday.
