Westlake Fourth-Grader's Work Goes on State Exhibition
Sophia Gorski will be recognized for her talent in Columbus.
Hilliard Elementary School fourth-grader Sophia Gorski will have her painting displayed in the 32nd Young People’s Art Exhibition in Columbus. The show is put on every year by the Ohio Arts Education Association to spotlight the importance of arts education.
Sophia will be recognized at a ceremony March 10 in Columbus, and her piece will appear with 140 others from Feb. 27 to march 27. The painting will stay on display as the show moves to the Ohio Department of Education building for the summer. Some of the art works will then be selected for display at the OAEA Convention in Cincinnati in November.
