Seven File for Three Seats on Westlake School Board

Current member Tim Sullivan did not file, leaving one open seat.

Two current school board members and five potential newcomers will run for the Westlake Board of Education in November.

With the filing deadline past, seven candidates have filed, according to the final list from the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections.

Current member Tim Sullivan did not file, but President Thomas Mays and Vice President Carol Winter are both set to run.

New candidates are: Michelle Albert, Robert Bodi, Anthony Falcone, Laurie Gettings and Geoffrey Rapp.

Voters will elect the new members on Nov. 8, and they will take office Jan. 1, 2012.
