Orientations Set for Westlake Schools
Is your child new to town or starting kindergarten? Come check out their new school!
If your child is starting kindergarten or is new to and in grades 1 through 6, orientation is coming up.
Parents of kindergartners will be getting letters about the orientation in early August. Orientation, which is for both the kindergartner and parents, is at various times on August 16. Each session will last about 90 minutes and will include seeing their new classroom, meeting the teacher, doing a class activity, and taking a short ride on a school bus.

New fifth-graders at will have orientation at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on August 8. Parents should be receiving a letter about which time to show up. Orientation for sixth-graders at Parkside will be from 1 to 2 p.m. August 13 in the school cafeteria.
