New Traffic Pattern at Westlake High School Starts Monday

Morning drop-offs and afternoon pick-ups at will be following a new traffic pattern beginning Monday Construction is scheduled for completion in fall of 2013.

Morning Drop-Off

Take the east driveway, using both lanes to the drop-off area in the front circle. The d drop off zone will be marked with a white strip. Make sure to pull forward as far as possible, to let more cars into the drop off.

Students should be sure to cross the drive only in the drop off zone to prevent accidents.

There will be no left turn onto Hilliard Boulevard, so parents must turn right.

Student Drivers

Students driving themselves to school should enter the east driveway and turn right into the back parking lot.

The back parking lot is for students, faculty and visitors. There is no drop-off at all allowed in that area.

Afternoon Pick-Up

At the end of the school day, traffic will again enter through the east driveway, but no student pickup is allowed in the front circle in the afternoon.

To get in line for pickup, drive to the back lot and cue up around the perimeter. You can then go out the back parking lot and turn right into the front circle. Then go out the west driveway.

As in the mornings, all traffic exiting the front circle must turn right.
