Corbin Blackburn Honored by Ashland University

Blackburn a Lutheran West graduate

Corbin Blackburn of Westlake received the Outstanding Male Undergraduate of the Year Award at Ashland University's 25th Annual Leadership and Service Recognition Reception recently.

This event recognizes students, faculty, and staff for their academic achievements and service contributions to the campus and outside communities over the 2011-2012 academic year.

The Outstanding Male Undergraduate of the Year Award is given to those who are an active member of the university community, act as a role model to the campus community, embody the ideals of the Ashland University mission, and are in good academic and judicial standing, maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher.

Blackburn, a finance major, is the son of John and Karen Blackburn and is a 2009 graduate of Lutheran West High School.
