Winter Storm Warning In Effect For Cuyahoga, Lorain County

Heavy snow accumulation and blowing could continue throughout the afternoon.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning that will remain in effect until 10 p.m. tonight.

According to reports, heavy snow could continue to fall through the early afternoon with the heavier snow accumuluating as much as an inch an hour.

West winds, gusting up to 25 mph, will cause blowing and drifting snow.

Due to the storm, roads that have not been plowed may slow down . 

From west to east, the snow is expected to taper off later this afternoon and into the early evening.
