Take Part In the Nov. 8 Election

Don't forget to register to vote or find your polling place.

Campaign flyers are showing up on doorknobs, and candidate posters are littering the front lawns. It's election season!

Are you ready to make your voice heard? To make sure you're registered before the big election day on Nov. 8, visit the Am I Registered? page on the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections website.

If you aren't registered, you must do so by Oct. 9. Here's how:

Register To Vote In Person

To make sure you're heading to the right polling place, visit the Where Do I Vote? page of the election board's website. Make sure to bring a state ID with you to vote. Make sure to have a valid ID, as student identification cards are not acceptable for this purpose.

Register To Vote By Mail

To register by mail, fill out the attached form and return it to The Board of Elections, 2925 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44115. If you'd like the form mailed to you, call the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections at 216-443-3298. Then just complete it and mail it back to the address above.

To request an absentee ballot, visit the Vote By Mail Application page of the board of elections website. Or, Ballots will not be sent by mail this year, so make sure to pick up a form at or if you plan to mail in your vote.
