Take a Trip Back in Time by Trolley

The Westlake Historical Society and the city are working together to take residents back in time to celebrate the bicentennial.

Take a trolley tour back in time and see some of Westlake’s most historic spots on Sept. 15! To celebrate the bicentennial, the city and the Westlake Historical Society are hosting a guided tour through town to see some of historic homes, followed by lunch and a visit to the .

Will Krause in the city’s planning department will narrate two tours during the day— one starting at 8:45 a.m. followed by lunch at noon, and another that starts with lunch at 11 a.m., followed by the trolley tour.

The lunch consists of oven-roasted chicken, calico beans, potato salad, deviled eggs, watermelon, coconut cake and strawberry ice cream, coffee, iced tea or lemonade and will be held at Clague Cabin.
