Snapshot of the Day: Detroit, Dover Center Road Construction on Schedule
Despite the blistering heat, the construction effort is moving steadily forward.
Westlake city engineer Bob Kelly said Wednesday that the is on schedule, and he's confident that it'll be completed by the Thanksgiving 2011 deadline.
For this project. Detroit Road will be widened 500 feet west and 500 feet east of Dover Center Road to cut down on rush hour congestion.
When completed, the newly constructed portion of Detroit will feature two eastbound and westbound lanes, plus a turning lane.
