Some do watch FOX news to hear how they distort what actually happened. This one DOESN'T it, but I can read, and the quotes about FOX calling out Lyin' Ryan are everywhere. And FOX IS evil...so I'm surprised that even Chris Wallace called him on a couple of whoppers.

Mr. Murphy...a little racist there. Is his race what really bothers you?
C. Minot September 03, 2012 at 05:10 AM
Mitt and company is so crazy about the Clint show that they have deleted him from the official RNC video. Dissing Clint won't make his day!
Jay September 03, 2012 at 01:58 PM
Oh hooray, lyin Ryan is coming to town! How exciting it'll be listening to the tales he loves to spin! Gosh almight! I'm so excited to hear him lie, I might pee myself!!
Chris M. September 03, 2012 at 02:48 PM
He's either delusional or a pathological liar - an utterly shameless fraud. He can't even tell the truth outside of politics. He lied that he ran a marathon in under 3 hours. Runners World found only one marathon he ever finished - in over 4 hours. Busted. And his creepy love affair with Ayn Rand's totally unchristian philosophy. Scary to think of him being a heartbeat from the presidency.

If Obama had lived in the "olden days of yore" he would have been the world's top snake oil salesman.
Joseph Robert September 03, 2012 at 04:19 PM
Nick, you are so right! Ryan is a pathetic LIAR. Why would I want to go see his speech full of lies, and consider voting for him? No way. Learn about Ryan's many lies at the RNC Convention, which have been reported by hundreds of media outlets, including FOX News. http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/plum-line/post/paul-ryan-fails----the-truth/2012/08/29/bbfe1eac-f254-11e1-b74c-84ed55e0300b_blog.html?tid=pm_pop http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/U/US_CVN_GOP_CONVENTION_FACT_CHECK?SITE=AP&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT&CTIME=2012-08-30-07-31-10 http://www.usnews.com/opinion/blogs/robert-schlesinger/2012/08/29/paul-ryan-repeats-auto-bailout-medicare-lies http://www.thenation.com/blog/169648/they-love-lies-paul-ryan-tells http://tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com/2012/08/ryan-risks-reputation-with-misleading-nomination-speech.php http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2012/08/30/paul-ryans-speech-in-three-words/ http://thinkprogress.org/election/2012/08/30/772921/6-worst-lies-in-paul-ryans-speech/?mobile=nc http://www.tnr.com/blog/plank/106730/ryan-most-dishonest-convention-speech-five-lies-gm-medicare-deficit-medicaid http://www.salon.com/2012/08/30/paul_ryans_brazen_lies/ http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2012/aug/29/paul-ryan/paul-ryan- said-president-obama-funneled-716-billio/ Americans CAN’T TRUST Romney-Ryan! So your commitment is another 4 years and everything will be ok? How's that going to work? What are the plans? I enjoy everybody calling Ryan a liar and then you drop Bill's name, the irony is incredible. You are awarded one point for blaming Bush but unfortunately also get minus a point for conceding that Barack hasn't done what he said he would do. Politifact would call that pants on fire, I'll call it being pragmatic.
The original Bill September 03, 2012 at 05:28 PM
Maybe if our President had a Congress that was a little less concerned with "making him a one term President" and a little more about helping American families get out of the recession we would have plenty of jobs today. Name me even one single Jobs Bill that was passed by Congress in the last 3 years. Name me one single Bill Congress passed to increase employment.
MZ September 03, 2012 at 05:56 PM
Bill, here is some light reading for you and I was glad to oblige. Multiple bills stuck in the senate thanks to Harry and company. Don't forget Obama had two full years of full control and less than two with a Republican controlled house, but don't let facts get in the way of your opinions. http://randy.house.gov/uploads/10%2017%2011%20Final%201%20Pager%20For%20Jobs%20Roundtable%20PDF.pdf
The original Bill September 03, 2012 at 07:19 PM
LOL! A bunch of bills making more drilling available, more tax cuts for the "job creators" and some pie in the sky estimates. Give me a break. How about a bill which will really help like rebuilding our aging infrastructure. The majority of our interstate highways are crumbling, And getting the NLRB out of the way so Boeing can build in South Carolina will create 2,000 jobs? Um what about the 2,000 jobs in Washington State that would be eliminated if they built it? And you need to quit buying into that 60 vote lie. There never was 60 Democrats in the Senate any time in the last 4 years. (271 filibusters by the Republicans prove this) http://www.outsidethebeltway.com/did-the-democrats-ever-really-have-60-votes-in-the-senate-and-for-how-long/
Robert Mihaly September 03, 2012 at 08:21 PM
I hadn't heard that, but I'm not surprised. LOL
Robert Mihaly September 03, 2012 at 08:33 PM
Your link to foxnews.com lists 3 words to describe Lyin' Ryan's speech...Dazzling (as in dazzling absence of candor or genuineness, I would think?), Deceiving (right on here, as they said, "Republicans should be ashamed that there was even one misrepresentation in Ryan’s speech but sadly, there were many."), and Distracting (again from Fox, "Ryan may have helped solve some of the likeability problems facing Romney, but ultimately by trying to deceive voters about basic facts and trying to distract voters from his own record, Ryan’s speech caused a much larger problem for himself and his running mate."). I have a more to-the-point 3 words: PACK OF LIES. I concur with your closing statement, Joseph. "Americans CAN’T TRUST Romney-Ryan!"
MZ September 03, 2012 at 08:43 PM
Your boy Bill somehow got things done with Republicans in the house. The evil GWB reached across the isle and got some things done, but not Obama? Didn't the Senate vote down his proposed budgets? Why with all of his superior intellect can't he accomplish anything? Doesn't he have the bully pulpit? Perhaps because he has done a lousy job of convincing Americans. Most think the country is headed in the wrong direction. We shall see come November.

Go Away Paul Ryan

I wish Paul Ryan would stop telling lies intended to frighten the country. Thankfully only a moron is going to believe that Social Security, and Medicare, our country’s two most important social entitlements aren’t collapsing. They are both awash in cash and why would 80 and 50-year-old programs respectively need to be updated or reformed to reflect demographic and societal changes anyway? Our historic surplus of 15 trillion puts the lie to Ryan’s crazy warnings concerning these programs. In fact, Obama, has added to our surplus at the fastest rate in our history. I wonder what nutty claims are next for Ryan. That we’re suffering with persistently high unemployment, underemployment and millions of American prematurely dropping out of the labor force? (Black unemployment is not 15%!) Or that the president, our CEO/CFO, has operated the country without a budget for his entire presidency? Even failing to negotiate budget agreements with Congress during the two years in which Democrats ran both the house and the Senate? On the foreign policy, front look for false charges that the president didn’t win “the good” war in Afghanistan from Romney-Ryan. One could go on and on listing the potential lies Romney and Ryan could level at The One We Have Been Waiting For, but I don’t want to do all their opposition research.

Ryan is a breath of fresh air. Do you want another 4 years of Biden a heartbeat away from the presidency? Biden is the guy who said "it's about a three letter word, J-O-B-S. Biden is the guy who told a man in a wheel chair to "stand up and be reocognized." Biden says the GOP wants to "put ya'll back in chains" Biden says Americans are better off than we were 4 years ago. The man is a clown. Ryan is a leader!!!! So is Romney!!!
Richard Ian Tracy September 04, 2012 at 08:57 PM
Are women allowed in? If so, should they fear having their uteruses annexed and their indivisible personhood abolished? Ryan & Romney are just RIDICULOUS. At this point, I'm starting to feel sorry for sane & rational Republicans -- as the vocal wingnut extremist end of their lot have taken over. Their campaign is certainly banking on greed, lies, racism, mass ignorance and promises of a theocracy (which is about as anti-American as one can get) -- some strategy. Heil Romney! Heil Ryan!
MZ September 04, 2012 at 11:33 PM
I heard women were banned and forced to walk behind the Male counterparts at all times, cannot be seen in public without their husbands (or other male family members), are forced to be covered from head to toe at all times in public, can't go to school, can be honor killed for various reasons, etc... Oh wait, perhaps most just don't want to publicly fund others "choices," or disapprove of killing the most innocent among us.
tom m September 05, 2012 at 12:39 AM
I heard Ryan kicked a fuzzy little bunny once
Richard Ian Tracy September 05, 2012 at 01:48 AM
Gosh, imagine if women were equal citizens capable of making choices about their own bodies ... oh, wait ... THEY ARE. You cannot divide a woman. She is either free and in control of her body or she is not. I cannot believe in 2012 we are still debating laws about controlling our own adult bodies. Frankly, I think it's bizarre that Republicans & Bigbadskydaddy worshippers think they should have a vote on a woman's uterus. No part of any free citizen is government property -- you don't get a 'vote' about other people's body parts. And, Tom ... hands off the bunnies! That's where I draw the line.
Robert Mihaly September 05, 2012 at 04:27 AM
Well Brian...I guess distortion is contagious amongst you folks. Updating and reforming aren't what Lyin' Ryan and "Nobody loves me but my mother" Mitt have in mind for Social Security and Medicare. But you probably don't read real news. Slicing, dicing and privatizing is more like it. They think it's better to give the insurance companies and their overpaid CEOs a bonus, while we get Medicare vouchers that don't cover the costs. And they're talking about making you wait til 69 or 70 to retire. Obviously you've never done hard physical work or been injured on the job, or you'd know what an asinine idea that is. I KNOW Mitt and Ryan haven't done either. BTW, you should be arrested for attempted satire.
Robert Mihaly September 05, 2012 at 04:30 AM
If Romney is a leader, why is he following Ryan and all the Tea Party loonies to the lunatic fringe?
Robert Mihaly September 05, 2012 at 04:33 AM
It rained today, but I fear it was too late to rain on this crazy train parade.
MZ September 05, 2012 at 11:24 PM
That's right Richard, yeah for abortions! They should be celebrated, perhaps there can be abortion pride parades! And women are fully capable of making decisions about their own bodies. Most even understand the potential consequences of intercourse. Some make choices that lead to a little glob of cells that they then make the choice to have sucked out of them. Really no big deal though. It's like picking a scab, that's all.
MZ September 05, 2012 at 11:24 PM
It has been raining on that crazy train parade in Charlotte.
Richard Ian Tracy September 05, 2012 at 11:49 PM
It's not my body. It's not your body. It's HER body. It's not about what *I* would do or what you would do -- it's about you & I not having control over other people. People fail to grasp what a slippery slope it is when the government or a religious group can make decisions about other adult citizens' living bodies. You might not like where that road takes us. Careful -- someone might annex your 'business' someday -- especially if that's what [insert deity of your choice here] would have wanted. Government control of a woman's body means she is not free -- annexing and legally dividing her uterus means she's not even an individual -- that is the opposite of emancipation ... the opposite of independent ... the opposite of equal ... the opposite of a free citizen ... the opposite of American.
