North Coast Challenge Will Close Roads to Car Traffic

Sept. 1 race will close roads for about 3 hours.

Next Saturday, Sept. 1, starting at 7 a.m. the city will close Center Ridge Road from Dover Center to Bradley Road to accommodate the annual  event. Scheduled events include a 2-mile walk, a 5-mile run, and a Kids Fun Run. All of the roads should reopen by 11 a.m. North Olmsted Police will close Stearns Road northbound at Lorain Road.    

Officers will be rerouting traffic in the area. The races all start near the campus of . Officers will allow emergency access to the hospital. Detours are posted.      

The following roads will close for about 3 hours:

Center Ridge at Dover, Northglen, Glenmore, Chase, Schwartz, Porter, Crocker, Bailus, Fairway and Bradley

Bradley Road at Silktree and Barton (North Olmsted)

Crocker Road at Center Ridge.

I think Enterprise was going to move there, since BMW is moving to where Enterprise is.

What about center ridge and clague (currently an old gas station)?

No, it is kitty-corner to the existing gas station & is new construction
