Mayor Dennis Clough Appointed Vice President of RTA Board of Trustees

Clough replaces Cleveland Heights Mayor Ed Kelley.

Mayor Dennis Clough is now vice president of the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority Board of Trustees. He will serve a one-year term on the board, which is responsible for approving business policies, reviewing RTA's annual operating budget and green-lighting projects and purchases over $100,000.

Clough is replacing former vice president Ed Kelley, mayor of Cleveland Heights.

Clough has been serving on the board since 1999 when he was appointed by the Cuyahoga County Mayors and City Managers Association. He is also a chair of the RTA board's executive committee along with restaurant owner George Dixon and Sonny Nardi.
