Leaf Pick-Up Coming Soon

Let's get ready to rake!

With the gorgeous fall foliage comes ... lots of raking.

The Westlake Service Department will begin collecting leaves from residential tree lawns on Monday, Oct. 15.

Leaf pick-ups will continue until Dec. 9, weather permitting. There is no set schedule for when leaf pick-ups will be done in specific neighborhoods or streets. On average, there's not more than two weeks between leaf pick-ups, unless bad weather creates delays.

Here are some reminders for putting your leaves out for pick-up:

  • Pile leaves on the treelawn, not in the street.
  • If your leaves blow into the street, push them back.
  • Do not put branches or grass cuttings in with the leaves.
  • Keep catch basins clear of leaves.
