American Greetings Plans on City Council Agenda

Development agreement with American Greetings may be voted on by council

Westlake City Council will take up another matter relating to American Greetings building its new world headquarters in Crocker Park at Thursday's meeting.

The second reading of an ordinance authorizing Mayor Dennis Clough to enter into a development agreement with American Greetings for the project is on the agenda for the meeting, which is at 8 p.m. Thursday at City Hall.

Council can either declare an emergency and pass the ordinance, or let the second reading stand and vote on it after the third reading at the Oct. 4 meeting.
