A rummage sale, Shred It Day and more!

1) Congratulations to Westlake's Nancy Huffman, who is now a member of the Lakewood Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees. Huffman will serve a three-year term. The Cleveland State University and College of Wooster graduate is active with North Coast Health Ministry and the Animal Protective League, and is a past president of the Westlake Junior Women’s Club.

2) The National Weather Service is predicting patchy fog before 9 a.m. giving way to partly sunny skies. The high will be near 79 degrees.

3) is accepting donations for the upcoming Barn Sale from 1-8 p.m. today. All proceeds from the sale held on Saturday will go toward producing the next season of great plays.

4) If you've got the itch for spring cleaning, today might be a good day to start gathering up your old documents. Westlake City Hall is hosting Shred It Day from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday. There's a limit of two boxes per resident.

5) is hosting a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. today with DVDs, books, clothes, furniture and more. The sale continues tomorrow with a half-price special and a $2 bag sale.
