Woman Tells Police to Arrest Her

The following information was provided by the Westlake Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Two people caused quite a commotion at a Detroit Road drug store a little before 10 p.m. on Jan. 26. Police found a 49-year-old Westlake man yelling at the back of the store and arrested him for disorderly conduct-intoxication. A 27-year-old Cleveland woman also got a bit out of hand. According to information from the police, she was acting “belligerent” and told officers to “just arrest” her.

They obliged.

She was also charged with disorderly conduct-intoxication and an unrelated traffic warrant.
