Woman in DUI Diversion Class Accuses Counselor of Sex Offense

The following information was provided by the Westlake Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

On Aug. 8, just after noon, a woman reported an alleged sex offense that reportedly occurred the previous morning around 10 a.m. at the Westlake Holiday Inn.

A female participant in a 3-day DUI diversion class accused a male counselor of an inappropriate touching after she was dismissed from the class. She did not require any medical treatment.

The program's management was aware of the matter when it occurred. The investigation continues by the Westlake Police Department.
