Woman Call 9-1-1, Reports She's Drunk and Doesn't Want Help

A sad, but funny situation of a drunk woman in want of attention who called 9-1-1.

Most people who call the police want to report someone else’s misbehavior. Not so on Feb. 7 at 2:15 p.m. when a 41-year-old Rocky River woman called 9-1-1 from a Clague Road home. She wanted to report that she was drunk and had an active warrant from the Rocky River Police Department.

She was arrested by Westlake Police for Disorderly Conduct - Intoxication.

The woman talked to a 9-1-1 operator for more than 7 minutes. She told the operator she was an alcoholic, a bad person and didn’t want help.

“You people don’t need to help people like me,” the woman said.

When asked if she was still drinking, she replied “absolutely” and that she had “a lot” of beer left.
