Westshore Enforcement Bureau S.W.A.T. Race Will Close Intersections
The annual 5K race to support the families of fallen officers may cause delays.
The Westshore Enforcement Bureau S.W.A.T.'s will likely cause some traffic backup in the area of Crocker and Clemens roads this morning.
The 5K race and 1-mile walk/run begins at 8:50 a.m. at the and should wrap up around 11:30 a.m., according to Westshore Enforcement Bureau S.W.A.T. team leader Pat Foye, a detective with the Lakewood Police Department.
The race, which raises funds for Concerns of Police Survivors, will coincide with the start of Peace Officers Memorial Week.

Intersections at Crocker and Clemens roads, Westchester and Ranney parkways, and Bassett and Crocker roads will be closed from 8:30-11:30 a.m.
Westlake police officers will be on hand to direct traffic, said Westlake Cpt. Guy Turner.

"Expect delays on Crocker Road, Clemens, Road, Bassett Road, and Ranney Parkway," he said.
