A man who lives on Brick Mill Run reported that he received five to six threatening phone calls on Wednesday (Feb. 6.)
The man told Westlake police that the callers sounded like men with South Asian or Indian accents. They demanded money and said they would crash his computer if he did not pay.
The victim told police that he thinks the calls came from a support company he used to fix a computer problem.
His computer did crash and he is unable to get satisfaction from the maker or the software provider.
